With sustainability in mind 
at ‘designs by Jacob manning’ we use a web host which uses only renewable energy to power its servers, we source our timber as locally as possible to reduce carbon emissions, all our timber is used either for our Quaichs and other projects, small off cuts are used for jewellery necklaces etc , and the shavings are used for heating. Every year I collect tree seeds for replanting partly in honour of my dad’s memory who was very involved in environmental issues, I favour acorns and try and find locations where they will be safe to grow and mature for 100’s of years , the picture shows part of last years collection of acorns and their growth so far.
